  • Any order containing at least one tin of paint or wax will be sent via a Next Working Day Delivery service and you may order as much as you like for one flat fee of £6.49
  • Sameday Dispatch - order as late as 3:00pm and we'll send it today*

Select your purchases and then checkout as normal. You order will be subject to a final stock check.

Identify the paint or supplies you are interested in and then call the shop on 01202 479695. We will discuss your requirements, perform a final stock check and take your order and payment.

Pack & Despatch

5 Step Pack Process

We have a five step packing process that is designed to ensure that your paint arrives with you in the same condition it left us, and without spills.

This starts with can clips to keep the lid on and ends up with bespoke l cardboard boxes that we have had made to fit whether you buy 1, 2, 3 or more tins.

We use Parcelforce as our courier. They have a policy of keeping all boxes label up which really helps when shipping paint!

Time to deliver

*Orders placed before 3:00pm that qualify for our Next Working Day service as standard will normally be shipped sameday Monday-Friday other orders may take up to one working day to process and take 2-3 days to deliver. Orders taken after 3:00pm Friday and over the weekend will be processed the following Monday. Our courier does not collect on Bank Holidays & Thomas & Lucia is not open on Bank Holiday Mondays.

Due to changes in various terms & conditions paint & wax cannot be sent internationally.

Other delivery options are available including timed and Saturday delivery. Please contact the shop on 01202 479695 and let us know your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Cost of delivery

The cost of delivery will be shown when you checkout and will vary depending on the product(s) you have selected and where you live. However you can order many products for a single delivery charge within reasonable limits.

'Reasonable' means that for very large orders we reserve the right to make an additional carriage charge.

Full Traceability

WIth Next Working Day deliveries you will receive an e-mail/text when your parcel is despatched and using the tracking data and links provided you will be able to see the progress of your shipment right up to your front door.

Cancellations, Refunds & Damaged Tins

Cancelling your Order

You may cancel your order if:

  1. We contact you and inform you that there will be a delay in fulfilling your order and you do not wish to wait.
  2. You call the shop on 01202 479695 before the order is despatched. Note: we aim to despatch same day Mon-Fri all orders placed befoer 3:00pm

After this time your order shipment will have been booked and may well have been shipped and therefore it cannot be cancelled or refunded.


Paint and other related products such as waxes and finishes are consumables are are not returnable as defined under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

We highly recommend that you try a sample pot before committing to purchase larger amounts. We cannot be held responsible for decisions you may make with regards choice of colour.

Damaged Tins

We have invested time, money and thought into the best way to pack paint as you can see in the above section and we exceed the guidelines as set by our courier.

We never ship damaged tins however on the odd occasion due to heavy handling the forces involved can cause tins to become damaged. It is extremely rare, I am pleased to say, that they burst their clips and leak.

We deem the paint is the product and the tin is packaging consequently we will not replace or provide refunds for tins damaged during transit unless paint leakage has occurred. Where leakage has occurred we require photographic evidence of the product as delivered before we will consider a commensurate course of action. Please contact us first on 01202 479695 before sending any photos.


While every effort is made to ensure consistency, paint colour my vary slightly between batches. Thomas & Lucia and its suppliers cannot be held responsible for such deviations. It is therefore highly recommended that you buy sufficient paint for your needs at the outset so it comes from the same batch.

Shipment Restrictions

Wax Shipment Restrictions

The Annie Sloan soft wax can only be shipped in limited quantities and with certain restrictions.

The limited quantity is set at a level far exceeding what you are likely to buy from us and therefore is not an issue. However the shipment of wax is limited to being transported overland and cannot be shipped by air or sea or where the journey may involve a leg of air or sea travel.

Can I have wax shipped to me?

Thomas & Lucia can ship wax to Mainland UK destinations. This is defined as UK Zone 1 and excludes post codes defined by our courier as 'Highland' or 'Island'. Thomas & Lucia cannot deliver wax to UK Zones 2 and 3.


For UK postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE select UK Zone 2 when checking out

For UK postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25 select UK Zone 3 when checking out

For all other UK postcodes select UK Zone 1 when checking out

Despatch and delivery delays may occur if an incorrect UK Zone is selected

Some UK postcodes may take an extra day

Can You Still Deliver Paint to me?

If you live in the UK, yes but your order must not contain wax. Please make sure you select the right carriage region at the checkout as charges may vary.

We do not ship paint internationally.
